Oak Academy Early Learning and Preschool Program
Oak Academy provides safe, nurturing and high quality child care and early enrichment education to an ethnically and culturally diverse group of infants and toddlers ages six weeks to Pre-K. It prepares pre-schoolers to enter kindergarten ready to learn on a level playing field with their peers.
Oak Academy is nationally accredited and a QRS Level 5 (the highest rating available) state licensed early care and preschool designed to meet the social, emotional, intellectual and physical needs of the whole child. It meets and exceeds the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s (NAEYC) standards.
Our program utilizes the research-based Creative Curriculum, founded on principles of child development, individualized for each child and incorporating culturally relevant practices. In our child-friendly environment children encounter daily experiences that mirror their ethnic and cultural backgrounds and those of their classmates.
We are proud to staff Oak Academy with caring individuals who are engaged in on-going personal and professional development and are committed to the application of their learning. Oak Academy’s teaching staff is state certified, fully credentialed, and degreed. All teachers dedicate over 30 hours per year to continuing education.
We value parents as partners in their children’s education. With parent-teacher conferences twice a year and low teacher-to-child ratios, parents can be assured their child will receive the best possible opportunities for learning and growth in this critical time before kindergarten.
