#OnThisDay in 1968, the Des Moines City Council approved the plans for what would eventually become Oakridge Neighborhood, supported by The Bankers Life (now @Principal), Equitable of Iowa (now @Voya), and 18(!) local banks providing "bridge" construction funds. #OakridgeStrong
